I have a 1996 Nitro 16 foot with a 75hp force on the back. The boat sat for about 6 years before I bought it. When I purchased it I replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter, primer bulb, drained all fuel out of tank. I dropped the bowl on the carb and cleaned it up. The thing starts right up and idles beautiful.
However, when I go to take off and put it Full Throttle it sounds as though it is missing. Also when it is Full Throttle and is going full speed u can hear what I believe is a miss.
I was wondering what I should do next... I thought maybe it just needed to be run since it sat for so long, but last summer I had it out quiet a bit, including a week long trip where it was ran every day. I'd really like fix it. The boat will get up on plan and will run, but the miss can be hear, and I believe felt especially coming out of the hole.
