Normally your supposed to change oil in the drive end of season, But I decided to change the oil now since its used, no telling what your going to find. first thing is the drain screw, went to get a new O ring and the Volvo parts guy said there is only one but mine has two?
The pdf manual says to replace all O rings so have those on order.
It also says to use sealant on the drain and fill screw so I plan to use Merc Perfect seal. as the photo suggests the previous owner did not use any.
When draining the oil there was a very small amount of clear water.. Before i take the boat anywhere far, I want to make sure that it doesn't leak at all. right now is the time to do a pressure check so can I get a tester for that at Volvo or is there a universal tester at napa?
Anyway thanks for any thoughts you might have.

There is only supposed to be 1 oring on that drain screw (the one in the groove), and no sealant.
What are you reading for a service manual that says to use sealant on the screws?

The service manual is the LK,SX-DPS.pdf
If the 1 o ring is all you need that explains why the second one is chewed up!, thank for the double check

Noticed some amber oil around the shift actuator housing, then found the shimming screw was loose, I tightened it of course! but the pdf says to use Pipe sealant with teflon.
The gear oil I drained out was black so im not sure why amber oil came out near the shimming screw??
Im sure that must be the location where water got in to the drive.
