96 evinrude E70TLEUM no spark

My outboard has had a no spark issue for some time... I have replaced the power pack with no success and then the stator. After replacing the stator I got spark and all was fine for a short time and then no spark again. I replaced the stator again and spark returned. After the spark returned and running I attempted to start it again the next day for a trip and no spark. What direction do I need to go in because I'm going crazy. Any help would would be greatly appreciated.

Load test your battery.----Pull starter apart for inspection

New battery, new powerpack, new stator, still no spark

Have you tested the ignition switch? Do you have the old style lanyard or the one that pulls on the key?

undo the black/yellow wire to the powerpack and retry
