is it ok
to remove eye/ rod without punching out the top pin that the eye hooks to and how much fluid will spray out

thanks for any help input on this

Gee, On my '98 Johnny, I had a leak on the center tilt ram. I bought a $70 seal kit, removed the PTT unit, unscrewed the cap of the tilt ram and replaced the oring seal and wiper. Not real hard. The only issue was getting the wires out of the Deustch connector, so I could put the PTT unit on the bench.

The PTT mounting pins have keepers that need to be removed. There are also plastic bushing which will fall out.
Best of Luck
