After day on water, my Force75 just quit while coming into the dock. Now it cranks but won't start. Compression is 125, plugs are ChampL76V, is getting fuel (I think, also tried hot shot starter fluid and it didn't even sputter), checked throttle kill switch (working). Have voltage to ignition module, but don't see any spark on the plug (when pulled and grounded to mtr). Any ideas would be appreciated!

Welcome to iboats. Steer clear of starting fluid. It ruins 2 cycle engines. Use a spray bottle with mixed fuel in it instead (just for future reference).

To see if the switchbox, stator, trigger are ok, disconnect the black with yellow stripe wire from the switchbox. If fire returns, it's the ignition switch, emergency lanyard switch, or wire harness.
If no fire still, you'll need the manual,as it get's long-winded from ere on out,and multi-pages, with the meters and-----

Thanks 12footer, I've already read many of your other posts and gotten some great info. I haven't located a manual for this motor yet. Any suggestions? I'm new to outboards.

You can order a manual right here from iboats, just click the link at the bottom left of this page. Then select Force from the list, and your manual will pop onto your screen, $27.95.

Pulled the black w/yellow stripe and still no fire. I get voltage on the red wire only at what appears to be an ignition module (part #815279-4) feeding the three coils. Two yellows and a brown show nothing. Two more questions- On the fuel line feed to the carb, how strong a flow should be expected? Do moist plugs mean it's getting fuel? Roscoe, thanks for the tip also. I was wondering if the Seloc manual was better than the Clymer!

I have not looked at a Seloc manual for the Force engines, sorry. I have a Clymer's. About par for the course as far as generic manuals go.
