May want to pull head off. Something with the piston, or rod may have seized it up.

well i pulled the head and got a hand full of bearings and the piston has bearings shot through it i cant see cly wall because piston is stuck at top i suspect it will have to be rebuilt what do you think the cost will be i found a similar running motor for 500 dollars would it be better to buy it or rebuild thanks

Rebuild will cost you $800-900 for parts,
$175 for machining,
$1100-1800 for labor.

So, $1000 if you do all the work, up to $2800 at a shop

it was a fresh tank of gas but was mixed 50:1 the dealer i bought it from a month ago said they would replace it with an 87 force 125 horse for 700 dollars and 10 day waranty they said they would show me compresion test and hook it all up free of charge they also said they would rebuild the carbs so i would not have to worry about it does this sound like a good deal i dont know what to do any advice before my decision please

sounds good. i had to repower myself and things are expensive out there. plus, if you replace with a non-force engine, you have to get all new cableing to go with it. best of luck to you. sounds like the marina is taking care of you.
