'96 Johnson 225 rebuild or replace VRO pump

Hi Iboater's,<br /><br />The VRO (fuel)pump has given out on my motor.I tried it on a portable tank,same thing.You need to pump the primer bulb to keep it running otherwise it will only run about a minute(at idle) before slowing/stalling out.I know the oil side of the pump is working good.My question is can one rebuild the "gas" side of this pump or does the whole pump need to be replaced as a unit?Is this pump servicable?<br /><br />Motor:'96 Johnson Oceanrunner 225 w/system check

rebuild parts are avaliable its a relativly easy process some instructions come in kit(s) when you are finished see if you can get a copy of how to test pump (flow chart) from service manual and run mixed fuel until you are sure oil side is reprimed (working)
