Hey folks,
My apologies, I'm sure this has been answered a million times, new boater, new poster here. I just picked up a 96 Johnson JREDS (8) HP. The seller told me to mix 1 bottle (16oz) to (1) gallon fuel. I've read on this forum a 50:to1
mix on larger motors equals 1 bottle to 6 gallons of fuel.
Is that my mix as well? Motor is running great but quite smokey!
Also, I'm using the "super tech" brand oil. Are all oils the same or should I spend the extra on the "Quicksilver" blend.
Thanks a bunch
