I have this ski that i dont use much but i wanna get it running for this summer and maybe sell it. I dewinterized it last year and if fired right up. Next time i wanted to use it nothing. It turns over but doesn't have any spark. What could be the issue with it?

Just to confirm, you have pulled a spark plug wire off the spark plug, used a good plug or suitable equivalent, and held it to a ground, and while cranking it over with the starter motor, it doesnt spark to ground?

I didn't use a new plug but i did try all three with no spark to ground.

Or Not to be insulting, but are you SURE it had no spark? A plug sitting on a head bolt may not be a flawless approach to checking spark. I think you can check with a voltmeter, but remember a spark should carry high voltage and may fry a meter if not hooked up correctly. You can always hold the plug threads...this will tell you for absolute certainty if spark is there, just be ready to let go when you find out it does.

Is this a 3 cyl? I assume so b/c in 98 they are. I always have to start mine cold with a shot of ether.
