97 200hp EFI Running rich

Hi
Ive been having a few problems with my motor recently. Sometimes when I take the motor out of gear it stalls. Could this be that the motor is running rich? I disconected the oil so I pre mix everytime I fuel up(50:1)
One thing I noticed is when I put the boat back up on the trailer I see a bit of burnt oil dripping out of the 2 holes above the lower unit. I guess those holes are some sort of water pump indicator. What can I do to fix this.

Did it just start this after you disconnected pump or was it doing it before?
Several thing will make this engine run rich at idle and bogg:
A) bleed filter stopped up ..if equipped
B) defective ATS sensor
C) defective head temp sensor
D) dirty injector/s
E) sometimes a defective MAP sensor or hose off induction manifold will cause this but you will see WOT operation affected also with is problem.

I purchased the motor with the oil system disconnected. It ran fine for the first few months but now its getting worse.
