Hi All: Looking for guidance! Last year I blew the motor in my 98 Fourwinns Horizon. It was a 4.3 Volvo Penta/Cobra (Model 432BPBYC) and I found a 97 4.3 (Model 432BPLKD) that has 300 hrs for $1300.00. Can anyone confirm if this is compatible? Everything I have found suggests it is and I havent heard from my mechanic to confirm....dont want to lose out!

Thank you in advance for the guidance!

if both motors have 8 bolts on the intake, then yes, they are both the same base motor.

as far as the remainder of the motor, its in the upfit. you may have to swap parts over.

yet for just a bit over $1300, you could rebuild your existing motor unless you punched a rod thru the block.
