I can't get the drive shaft out the lower unit. Pinion gear nut is off, the crankshaft seal housing is off.
In the pictures there something that looks like the back of a seal ive tried to drill a small hole, so I can pull it with a puller.
I don't have a manual. This is a one time seal job for a friend.
I tried to hit it with a center punh so I could drill it. It went deep into the casing.
