98 115 Faststrike Fuses

My 1998 Johnson 115 Faststrike is not charging the cranking battery. In addition, the gauges are dead. It starts and runs fine. My bilge are overfilled with water prior to the most recent trip and I fear that I have blown a fuse. The main fuse under the hood is fine. The fuses in my fuse panel are all fine. Is there a fuse that I'm not aware of? Or another thing I should check? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Turns out it's not a fuse. It's an intermittent problem. I checked the connections at the battery and they're good. The only gauge that isn't working is the tach. When the tach kicks in the battery is charging. But it comes in and out. I'm searching for a loose connection somewhere...

Check the plug connector from the regulator/rectifier maybe corrosion inside.

The rectifier/regulator is needed for the tach to work, and is also needed to charge the battery. So you've either got a bad connection in that area, or else the rectifier/regulator is going bad.
