Yes, it will owrk just fine. In fact you can use any lower unit from a 150 on up from the late 1980's until the last 225 was built in 2003, they all interchange, 150, 175, 200, and 225 at least for the years 1989-2003. For whatever its worth they show up on E-Bay frequently (about one per week, sometimes more) and typically sell for less than $300. I had one shipped to me from Florida (I'm in West Virginia) and if I remember correctly it cost me about $30 to get it here.<br /><br />Thom
