98 60hp 4 stroke Water Pump

1998 60hp suzuki 4 stroke<br /><br />I was pumping low water pressure and the engine was over heating so I changed out the impellor still no joy. I'm still putting out low water pressure out of the weap hole and still running hot. I'm leaning towards the thermostat, any ideas?

Did you get the old impeller out all in one piece? Check for any blockages.T-stats could be stuck,also look out for a faulty poppet valve.
