98 Evinrude 200 v6 2 tell tale streams

I need help locating where this other hose is supposed to go or if it goes anywhere. It's attached to the top of the block and water streams out of it but I have another one that I know for sure is the tell tale hose . Also does anyone know how hot the motor is supposed to get. I understand it's a motor and gets hot but iv seen other post where you can at least keep a palm on it??? Any clarification can help thank you

My 1997 is completely different.

The top hoses go from one thermostat to the via connections on the underside of the power pack mount.

The tell tale comes out on the under side of the block

Temp: 140 thermostat. Figure 140 max if the system is working properly.

Yea mines different doesn't connect in the middle like yours does.
