im working on a98 5.7gsi, intermittent no start, i have nice pulse width on the injectors, fuel pump working but 1st time out for the day, will not start without attempting several times, then after using it, wil not restart when trying it an hr after last run. i have changed the coil and module, the only thing left is the pickup but i believe the pickup sends signal to the computer to fire the injectors, right? so if the injectors are firing, the pickup must be ok. am i right?

i didnt check the pressure but as i said, i can see a good pulse of fuel when the injectors are firing. plenty enough to fire the engine

without fuel pressure, no fuel will be injected, no mater how good the pulse to the injector is. without fuel pressure the bang portion is missing from the suck-squish-bang-blow formula.

OK, but i said the fuel is ejecting from the injector. the flow is great.plenty of fuel coming out of the injector into the throttle body bowl
