I am needing to change my tilt/trim fluid on my Yamaha 115 engine. The only port I would be a port that has a cap on it close to the trim motor but is comes out horizontal from the engine and would be hard to get fluid in. Am I missing something???
<br /><br />There is no drain. You have to disassemble it to empty it. Why change it? They operate for seconds at a time. I doubt an hour ticks by in an entire year of use. That's why no drain. There's no real need to change most for their entire lifetime, even if it stretches into decades. Unless it became contaminated somehow.
