99 150 OPTIMAX

MY 99 OPTI HAS A PROBLEM. IT FAILS TO START AFTER BEING RUN FLAT OUT FOR EXTENDED AMOUNT OF TIME. IT WILL START UP FINE AFTER LETTING THE FUEL PRESSURE BLEED OFF. I DO THIS BY PULLING THE HOOD OFF AND DEPRESSING THE FUEL RAIL SHRADER VALVE. THIS MOTOR ONLY HAS 12 HOURS ON IT. IT RUNS GREAT EXCEPT FOR THIS PROBLEM. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!

Howdy, BB.<br /><br />Please don't post in all capitals. It is viewed on the net as SHOUTING.<br /><br />Sounds to me like you have a warranty problem. I wouldn't mess with it. I would let trained Merc wrenches do that.<br /><br />Good luck.

Thanks for input JB, but this baby is a 1999 it just has low hours. Warranty has been out for a while.Just thought maybe someone out there has had the same problem with the optimax motor.
