Looking for some advice. I have a 200 Johnson and when I go to start it I'll squeeze the bulb, push the high idle forward, choke it and turn the motor over. It'll pop right off after a few seconds and the motor will run for 5 seconds and die almost like its starving for gas and my bulb is no longer hard, I'll turn it over again and itll fire but wont start and that becomes about a 2-3 min process to get it to actually start again and when it finally starts I have to rev it out, smoke going everywhere like the motor was flooded, itll come down to an idle and it could sit there and idle all day if you wanted, once I put it in gear it does not skip a beat and runs great. I'll get to where I'm fishing, fish there for awhile and when I go to start the boat I have to go through the same process all over again. I've just replaced the bulb and inline fuel filter, I've checked hoses and they're in good condition as well. Idk if theres some type of vacuum issue and its sucking air, a carb issue, timing issue, or what it is but it's the same routine every day and am looking for some help because it does get very annoying. Thanks!
