No i haven't, but my 2000 225 optimax just blew a powerhead and will cost 6,000 dollars to replace, mercury told me there was nothing they could do since it was out of warranty, I have owned mercury for years and this is the first time I've had this to happen, and I don't have 6,000 dollars for repairs at this point. There was a service letter sent out from mercury sometime ago, at that time i hadn't experienced any of the problems listed on the letter until now.
