99 Chris Craft question...

Well I found this guy selling his 99 Chris Craft 21ft with a 5.7L Volvo Penta outdrive...he's about 1 1/2 hrs away from me. He says it's got an electrical problem and that the motor is cranking but not starting, the harness has a crack in it he says. He also misplaced the title. The boat seems like it's in really good condition.

I've been looking to find out how much it would cost me to get that replaced. Anyone have any idea?

RUN AWAY

Not only did you not give enough information on what is wrong to tell you how much it would cost to fix it. But what caused it, what else needs fixed you haven't heard of.

No Title........ That's the biggest deal breaker right there. Don't play the game, if it was a legal boat and he was the owner, he knows he needs a title to sell it. The whole deal sounds shady to me.
