After removing my outdrive for the first time I noticed some oil in the bellows. I would say maybe a few teaspoons down in the creases. Would that be engine oil or drive oil? I also aligned my engine. I had to turn the nuts 2 full turns to make it right.. But I'm almost out of threads. What do I do if I need more threads to align next time?

I changed my drive oil and filled until oil came out of the fill line hole. I'm 99 percent I didn't over fill but if by chance I did do I need to replace oil seal?

there should never be drive oil in the bellows, that means the input shaft seal could be leaking, I'd think about having it pressure checked and any leaky seals should be replaced.

about the alignment, how do your engine mount stringers and rubber mounts look? If you're running out of adjustment the mounts may have settled down. Take a good look at the fiberglass for the engine mount stringers (no cracks) and the rubber engine mount bushings (not squashed flat).

I'll post a few pictures of the mounts tonight for an expert's opinion.
Thanks in advance

Drive lube from the gear yoke seal in the outdrive. This seal is behind the large castle nut around the U joints. Engine oil would end up in your bilge. The flywheel engine coupler isolates the outdrive from the engine. Unless your outdrive lube bottle, or dip stick drops faster than you can add lube, or if the lube is milky, I'd run it until these things happen. Then do a full upper and lower gear hsg. seal job.
