99 Evinrude 175 Ficht spark problem.

I'm having trouble getting the engine started. When I check for spark I get no spark sometimes and other times I get intermittent spark. I have checked multiple cylinders with the same results. I just sent the computer out to be checked and it checked good. When I am showing intermittent spark the engine tries to fire otherwise nothing.

Ok I replaced the Capacitor and the crank position sensor. It still doesn't start, but it does try to hit once or twice sometimes. Its reading very intermittent rpm on the tach when cranking over. My next guess is the stator.

before spending $$$$ on parts why not do a complete overall of electrical connection points. Any critical connection point with corrosion could drive you nuts

I see that engine has a power dist panel PDP known to have a history bad (cold) solder spots on the main power input at the bottom causing intermittents.

BTW... does PTT go out also ?? see diagram or do searches on PDP
issues

at the very least do some voltage checks while it is dead (no sparks)

check power entry at C&D and exit at a B cold solder spot can be resoldered by removing the PDP and resoldering the contact pins C or D

try wiggling -prodding the electricals to see if it wakes up suddenly

No power. No trim. Motor acts like battery is dead even though it has a full charge

When I turn the key on my 2001 rude ram nothing happens lights on the dash won't come on nothing. Checked all the fuses they are good I'm lost as to what could be the issue. I've put test lights on different wires and not all my wires have power going to them is it the main relay or the EMM that...
