I just bought a project boat 2 states away from me, without looking at it. WAIT... Don't lay into me just yet. Let me explain the boat is a 1960 American Marc II. While researching my 1951 Wizard I stumbled on American Marc boat co. This interested me because my name is Marc. How cool to have a boat with you name on it, I learned that they only made a few hundred boats total, so I wrote off the idea of ever getting one.Thanks to eBay I found one in Washington State i live in California, it turns out its just 85 miles from my dads house. A phone call to the old man and a quick bid and there it is another project. It will cost me 10 times the purchase price in gas to get it. OK now let me have it. What do you think? A fool or visionary!

That's a really neat boat. There's probably some valuable parts on that electric shift Evinrude.
