A couple weeks again I got into shallow water.it was a marked channel, but got real shallow in a couple of spots.
I ended up in some mud,but got thru it okay. After that the motor starting running a little hot. At low speed she is fine.as you increase speed she warms up. Once went over 190 ,I slowed it down .the temp dropped. Did this a couple times. Took it home ,thought I flushed it out good. But is still doing the same thing?
Any ideas? Sorry almost forgot. Aq125a,270combo 1985trophy. I guess I'll break her down a little further.and really flush everything good. The impeller looks good and was brand new at the time. There seems to be a little ,and I mean very little bit of leakage at the cap on the strainer housing?
Thanks for any help.

Re: A little warm!

You may have to remove the cover on the heat exchanger and clean the insert by back flushing it. If it packed sand or mud into the insert, the flushing is still pushing in the same direction and will not remove the mud.
