I have to say some things. When it comes to our effective presence on the water, safety is the first and foremost concern. These helpful posts might save a life. Soon at that. The world is large and uh ummmm non-personwise. Our brothers and sisters are dying in Iraq. Long winded sailors and short winded landlubers. Jimmy Buffett drives a plane to work and it floats. Who works on that Bilge pump...Lol  I know that I am saying, God Bless you. We all have an insight and it is worth saying. We who live at the mouth of the 1 or 2 of the most famous american rivers, we will drive that way and wave. Who knows the difference in the type of waves between folk in the boat , raise your hands. May a pool victory come your way and may all your beer be cold,,,and women (and men) be friendly.
Situationally Aware,
Capt. R Emmer

By the way. I was fishing with a 81 year old woman who kicked my butt. She got the championship(sheepshead, blackdrum, yellowtails and reds galore) by 4 fish in the bottom of the 8th. She was the Captain of a 19.6 C skiff with a purring Yami 75. Is it ok to say ...she's a BAD *** ? And she invited me:)
