That's pretty cool Pony. My wife took a course in stained glass at a local community college. She really enjoyed it. Two things she made I thought were nice, one was a jewelry case, and the other was a cat. Also, she made a snowflake that hangs in the window. It's really pretty when the sun shines through it.

Dave..

Yeah, give that fish some big ole knarly teeth. :)

Looks good.

How about a scene of your backyard, that looks just like what you see thru the window looking at your backyard. But make it a perfecly groomed lawn, flowewbeds, clean pool, etc. That way when you lok out the window, all the yard work will be done, and you can hook the boat up and go fishing.

Cool Pony  . Do you sell many?
Pony I would stay with a wild life theme deer, grouse, pheasants, ducks, fish.
Or you could make Lions, Bears, and Vikings and give them to you football buddies.
:p

Pony, thats beautiful ! ! !

One of my sisters has a stained glass art gallery here on the island. All her work is custom. She can also replicate anything from a photo, her husband is a photographer. You should look into it sometime. The possibilities are endless.

Booner-
I have yet to sell any of them. Not even sure what I could charge. I am considering making a few smaller ones and selling them.

I just may stick with a nature theme. I looked into doing one of a loon, but I dropped the idea as it just didnt look like it would turn out well enough. I have done a few sports themed ones already. I will get some pics of those on here later tonight. The ones I don;t have I have just given away to relatives.

LOL @ roscoe.

I would like to stay away from red, as red glass is more expensive. :)

Sorry to bump this up....just looking for some feedback.........

I'm thinking about making another fish, but maybe putting a clock in the upper right corner. I dont know if I want to do another musky....so any ideas of a different fish to do that would look cool. I was thinking maybe a walleye or a trout, I just dont know

Pony, don't start making lampshades. We already have a famous lampshade maker from Wisconsin, Ed Gein

What about a Clown Fish.. Like in the movie "Saving Nemo"
Have the clown fish slightly off to one side with green seaweed and smaller fish in the back ground. Kids and adults would really like it. Have you seen the wavy glass and the neat effects it shows.. If not you maybe able to find a glass blower to give the green awavy look.. It looks really neat. It gives the glass art a 3-D effect. The fish is really nice and mounted in the right spot.. You do really great work..

I bet you could sell those, especially if you stay with the nature theme. Also, if you continue to do stain glass, study other people's techniques while you continue to develop your own. It always helps to study the masters, which pushes your skills skyward. Great job Pony!
