MY, sounds like fun! A few years back I worked for a 'disaster' restoration company. One job I had was an above ground pool that had let go, the skirting had corroded, the liner weakened and it popped. The water quickly exited the pool, flowed across the lawn, knocked the fence down (rotten posts), through the garden and into the neighbors basement. When I arrived the basement was 4" deep in mud with a nice variety of flowers and vegatables from the garden. What a mess! I see you've already started, hopefully your pool isn't uphill from your house... it was ugly
