Re: above ground pools

MY, sounds like fun! A few years back I worked for a 'disaster' restoration company. One job I had was an above ground pool that had let go, the skirting had corroded, the liner weakened and it popped. The water quickly exited the pool, flowed across the lawn, knocked the fence down (rotten posts), through the garden and into the neighbors basement. When I arrived the basement was 4" deep in mud with a nice variety of flowers and vegatables from the garden. What a mess! I see you've already started, hopefully your pool isn't uphill from your house... it was ugly

it's done! first load of water delivered around
7:30 last night, but the old milk truck only holds
4,000 gal., gonna need 2 more loads.
went very well, however the 90 degree temp made
it a little tuff
gotta say that the prep work was way harder than
putting it up. everyone told us the liner would
be really hard, but we had it in within 30 min.
less than 1 inch off of perfect level... not bad
for the first time :)
swimming anyone?

Nothin' like a challenge huh MY? Sometimes it ain't about the money it's about the satisfaction of doing something yourself. Esp when everybody tells you to hire a pro.

Enjoy the pool - I have a feeling all you have to do is look at it to enjoy it ;)
