so i can't use autolite spark plugs in my 5.7L chevy engine since i found ac delco ones in there when i took the plugs out?

hahahah<br /> sorry<br /> I was just funnin<br /> either brand will work as long as they are of the correct heat range.<br /> me I like keeping AC in my GM and autolite in the fords and NGK in the yamahas and champion in my OMC. as long as the correct resistor or inductive type plug is used its really of no concern who made it.<br /> good luck and keep posting

I pulled out the ac delco ac-MR43T plugs. Would i be able to put in the Autolite 26 plugs and get the same performance?<br /><br />I can't seem to find the temp ratings for either plugs.<br /><br />thanks

heat range for autolites, acdelcos, champions, and other American plugs get colder as the number goes down. an autolite 24 is colder than a 26. I have an older version of that cross reference matrix from ngk, which I think is more correct. The one they have up now has been redone, and it doesn't seem to match my old one.<br /><br />This listing seems a little better though<br /> http://www.clubplug.net/cross.html

thanks for the info..Actually, on autolite's website. they say what plug to use for my engine..So i'm now using a 25..hopefully its not too hot.
