AC unit

I have a '93 Thompson Santa Cruz 2700 that doesn't seem to be getting power to the AC unit. There isn't a dedicated breaker on the panel so I'm wondering if anyone has insight into tracking the power or where an alternative breaker/switch may be. Any other insight would be helpful as I do not have a manual for this vessel

Re: AC unit

Unless it was an aftermarket install on the AC, there has to be a dedicated breaker for it. Check near the AC unit itself, on the power control box. This is where the wiring will go prior to being wired to the boat...about 3' from the AC

Re: AC unit

I have looked for a breaker close to the ac unit but have not found one as of yet. Was thinking I should open the main breaker panel and search for the color coded wiring that matches the AC feed there. Possibly the breaker marked ACC. Thanks for your thoughts. Any others are appreciated

Re: AC unit

I will assume you are attempting to operate from Shore Power and not from an on-board generator.
The Air Conditioning is often supplied from a second Shore Power Cable that is separate from the other House Loads.
Is it plugged in? Are you sure?
