Hi Guys and Gals,

I posted a few days ago about having the motor mount replaced on my motor. I recieved a call today from the mechanic who stated that the adapter housing was broke. He told me the part alone was 585 dollars. As of right now I don't have the money to repair it so I asked him what it would cost just to put it back together and I would come and get it. He stated he would not put it back together but would put it in boxes and I could come and pick it up because he was not going to be responsible. Is this unusual or am I getting jerked around.

Re: adapter housing

guess i should have added the problem with the adapater housing is the bolts broke off in it. I'm not even sure what the adapter housing is and wonder why if the bolts are broke in it why it can not just be machined.

You're right. Any machine shop can remove that broken bolt. Hel*, the mechanic broke it off, he should get it fixed. Hooty thinks you're dealing with some sort of jerk.

c/6

Hooty
