Add tiller handle and manual choke to 91 Evinrude 15hp?

Any chance this can happen?
I have a 91 Evinrude 15 hp E15RELEIA
It’s a remote only motor. Start, choke (electric auto primer), etc is controlled from the shifter/remote control unit.

I’d like to be able to use this motor as a remote kicker on one boat leaving the remote installed. Then being able to remove the motor from the kicker bracket and use it as a tiller on another boat. Dual purpose.

If that’s not possible or too much of a pain, then I’d like to convert it to a tiller steer and it would be nice but not necessary to keep the electric start feature.

I have a tiller handle assembly and a rewind starter assembly from an 87 E10RLCUE. I have other parts from that motor as well.
Looks like the 87 rewind starter is the same part number as one for a 91. The tiller handle assembly is supposed to fit?

Here’s what I’m running into:
There is a solenoid where the rewind starter needs to mount?
I'd like to eliminate the auto primer and install a manual choke but there is no choke bracket on the carb. Can I modify this carb or do I need to replace it?
I have the 9.9 carb from the 87 motor (black plastic top and bottom). Could I use it?
The starter switch / button is no longer available. Can I use one from a different motor and just rig it to the (re-located) solenoid?
Should I just sell the motor and buy a tiller?

There’s a lot of stuff jammed under that little motor cover!

Anybody ever do this or have some suggestions?
Your help and suggestions are appreciated.
thanks

why not sell the 15hp with controls and buy a similar tiller, then keep the difference to put towards gas and beer?

I think that's good advice and something I might end up doing.
Thing is that my motor is in very good shape and you're never sure what you're getting in a used motor but I'll keep my eye out for one.
Another thing is that it seems I already have most of the parts to make the conversion?
Just not sure how they all attach?
thanks
