ADDED 3rd TOON

I add a 23inch toon to a boat with 22 inch toon .The bottom of the toons even.The center toon is a20 ft. and outer toons are 22ft. long.All toons are equal in front.I have a 60 hp big foot for power.The first time out the water boiled up anwas comeing up under bottom of motor houesing.I made a half round from middle toon to motor bracket.Boat ran worst.The motor at full throtle use to be 5600 now 4900. I Need Help With This.

No expert here but it sounds like all you did was add more surface area to the water to increase drag. Alot of engineering goes into all boats out there. Just curious why you added a third toon. Not trying to be a wise ***, just curious as I would like to know what you're using your pontoon for.

I would really like to see a picture of how you have it setup. I set mine up with a transom built into the rear of the middle pontoon and set my engine height just like a v-hull boat with the cavitation plate 1" above the bottom of the pontoon. If there is too much "dead space" between the end of the tube and the motor and it's gunna airate the water causing the prop to loose bite.
