THIS is the way to do it then ...

Have the inmates do the dirty work, scrub the entire boat, bad floors out, all grinding etc done, floors and transom installed correctly

but not painted nor finished, raw but STRUCTURALLY SOUND

get me?

then an auction to bid on the boats OR a lottery to win a boat

the fun work takes a long time too, and is what makes the boat desireable

of course, the wardens extended family and all his buddies would get the makos, duskys, and those three bowed water wheelbarrows, boston wailer or something like that, but Ive never met a boat I didnt like, and I would pay a decent buck for an ex hulk of an Airslot

eh, I dunnno, I read that florida is in a bind, they dont know what to do with all the derelics they have, cant burn em, cant bury em, what do do with em, they dont even want artificial reefs made with them

this is perfect, there is usually NOTHING wrong with the fiberglass, its the wood inside thats rotted

I do remember the road down in The Villas being repaved with asphalt that had busted bottles in it as aggregate ... but busted chunks of glass stuck up, HELLL of a thing for a street that leads to the delaware bay, where everyone walks down the street barefooted to go splash around

I guess ground up fiberglass would work, the resin is apparently petro based, which is why pre embargo boats are so solid, would be able to stretch out quite a few miles of interstate with them

but itchy, sweaty slobs performing a public service instead of sitting around discussing how to beat the rap, and lifting wieghts so they can more easily rob the poor slob doing an honest 40 (or 50 or 60!) hours a week just tickles me, how ironic would THAT be?
