Will adding a deck to the front of my 14 ft fiberglass jon boat make it top heavy?.I have been restoring this old jon boat for a few months now and finally will be adding the floor this week and soon want to start converting into into a fishing machine IMG_20180917_190159.jpg .

Possibly. 14ft is NOT that big so weight is always an issue. With Motor, gas, gear etc. it adds up quick.
She prolly limits out between 750# - 900# 25 hp weighs between 100-125 lbs

you can put a deck up there but it would most likely be very unstable to sit or walk , if its a flat bottom you might be fine if v that will kinda be unstable.

a deck on the bow of a 14' boat is as unstable as trying to stand on the seat of a canoe
