whats up guys i have a 1985 force 125 ob and i added a tell tale today .i installed a aftermarket temp guage to it last year ,i drilled a hole in the water jacket of the head and tapped it so i could put the temp senser on the head .i removed the plug in the top of the head to install the tell tale,i got it all done and started my motor on the muffs ,i ran it for about 5 to 10 minutes and noticed the temp guage went to about 140 to 150 degrees, my motor has a 110 degree thermostat and the temp gauge has always read 110 degrees so i took the tell tale off and put the plug back in and started it back up for another 5 to 10 minutes and it ran at 110 degrees,i would rather have my motor run at 110 instead of 150 degrees ,somthing to think about for everyone who has added a tell tale to their motor ,it runs hotter
