Yes it is possible.----I believe the same tiller as used on the 1960's 28 / 33 / 40 HP Johnson / Evinrude will work.--I would say that the first thing to do is to evaluate the entire motor before spending money.------No need for a battery or controls for that motor to run.-----Your location ?
good idea. I think sometimes they have mounting holes for a tiller and a plug/cutout for a throttle, if you want that. I have seen tiler steering motors with separate hand throttles.
