I have a 1984 bay liner Capri. I got a tower from a friend who has a newer bay liner. I have been researching how to attach and if it would work. The hull right now is about 1/8 thick up by where it would attach. I have been reading if I add a plate to the back on the inside of the hull to help distribute the weight that it will work. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any suggestions? Bad idea?
