adding elec start

have a 2004 9.9 323cc merc 4 stroke kicker that i would like to add elec start. what parts would i need to buy. electric flywheel, starter and a charging coil. what else would i need. also any thoughts on adding a push button starter switch to the motor itself. thanks in advance for your input!

Start comparing parts lists.

Its going to be more expensive than selling your motor abd buying one with electric start

i hear ya scott, can i just add a starter and not have the charging capability?

you can, however whats the point. a properly tuned 9.9 should fire off with half a pull

you are right scott, i pull the fuel line and run the carb dry after every trip, darn ethanol anyways. my issue is when i go to restart it after running it out of gas and my 60 yr old body is looking for something easier,lol. once its warm up, half a pull is all it takes. thanks for your time Scott!
