I have just bought my first boat and am looking for part number for correct power steering actuator to install power steering on my 2001 crownline 180 with Mercruiser 3.0, alpha gen 2. I found an oem kit with everything except the actuator! Just not sure which actuator to buy and what the part number is for it! Thanks for any info!!!

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... Gotta ask,... Why are ya addin' P/S,..??..??

That boat should steer easily with 1 finger, as it came from the factory,......

If it steers Hard, you've got other problems,.....

Hello. It’s not real hard to steer! I have taken apart and checked steering cable! Moves free! Checked drive and it turns side to side with ease. Hooked all back up, it’s just a little harder than I would like it to be!
