I have a 1979 Thundercraft 16ft bassboat, with a 1967 Mercury 065, thinking about adding a CMC PT-130 kit, what would be my advantages and is there other opinions for a power tilt and trim unit?

1 - It will save your back from injury.
2 - You can trim motor in for a better holeshot.
3 - You can trim the motor out to get your boat fully up on plane for higher speed and less strain on the engine.
4 - Easier and safer operation in shallow waters, and launching and loading.

Panther makes a comparable t/t unit.
http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cgi?prod_id=37931

DO IT !!!!!!!!.Haven't used manual tilt in years,The only thing worse than that is having a dead battery and using the pull start.

Jim
