I have a 1998 Yamaha 9.9 short shaft tiller i use for a kicker. I'd like to be able to use it to charge my electronics battery while i'm trolling as this motor runs 99% of the time while fishing. It has two wires dangling on the tiller side of the motor. Can I just add a Rectifier there and then hook that right to the battery? Will that work or do I need more stuff in the circuit? Thanks
