I had some corrosion issues on my 1996 bravo 3 last year and am hoping to avoid them this year. So far I have replaced the anodes to all magnesium and installed a new mercathode system (the old one had the anode block painted over.) I am also going to buy a Bravo III Prop Nut Anode System to help offset those large SS props.

I have read that it is recommend to install a second mercathode system for bravo 3s to help fight corrosion. To install a second system, I assume they mean hooking up a second controller to the existing controller and basically install leads to connect the two controllers together? Is that all that needs to be done to install the second controller.

Also, the boat is stored in a freshwater lake year round.
Thanks
