When adding temp gauage to a 1987 88hp V4 where does it attach to engine? I seem to have an extra tan wire coming from harness on the left side. What is considered normal operating temp range when used in S.C. waters?
Marc,<br /><br />You have a temperature sensor (tan lead) on each head. Those sensors are not compatible with a guage. Only a buzzer.<br /><br />The engine should run about 145 degrees, regardless of water temp.
