Adding trim Gauge to DF140

Hey all! Hope someone can help out.

I have a 2008 DF140. Unfortunately it did not come stock with a trim gauge.

I am looking at ordering a gauge from Browns but want to make sure everythig else I need is there. (wiring harness, etc.)

What should I look for behind the dash for a connector? How can I tell if it's hooked up to the trim/sender unit?

Any help would be appreciated!

Behind the dash coming out of the main harness should be a two wire connection. Wire colors are white/yellow and black. This connection goes to the gauge.

At the engine most likely the connections are already made. If not follow the wiring from the sending unit thru the cowling and make sure the wires are connected up to the main harness. I think it is done automatically thru the main square plug connection. At the engine the wire colors are also White/yellow and black.
