additional info needed for Clinton Apache

I have some questions about a 5 horse Clinton Apache, model #J9 1106 B, serial #099219 that I own.<br /><br />1. Year of motor (so I can get a manual)?<br />2. Is the fuel ratio 32:1?<br />3. Type of spark plugs?<br />4. Additional info that would help before I get the manual in?<br /><br />Thanks a bunch!<br />BJ

All I can tell you with confidence, BKBroiler, is that you need to use chainsaw oil in a 16:1 mix.<br /><br />Air cooled engines run a lot hotter than water cooled engines and require a different oil at a richer mix.<br /><br />Your plug will be a Champion. I think it used a J8J (now a J8C).<br /><br />Good luck, and welcome to iboats.
