Address book in Outlook Express 6?

I went to add an email address to my address book. It flashed up that it already existed. Uh Uh, it is no where to be found. What might be up?

So write the address on a piece of paper then compose an e-mail with the first few letters you type it should pop up...when or if it does off click on it......to show it in your addy book [outside server POP**
