I just bought a new to me Rinker 230. When I was starting to get the boat ready for use last weekend I noticed that it looked like a through hull transducer for a fish finder/depth sounder.
Is this a actually atransducer? Can I use it to upgrade from the factory digital depth finder to a fish finder? Or to upgrade will I need to upgrade the tarnsducer and wiring to the helm?
I haven't looked too closely at it yet, so I don't know how the wires are run to the helm of the boat.
