adjusting float on holley 4160

Does anyone know the correct procedure for adjusting a 4160 4 bbl with no external adjuster or peep hole? I know that you invert the bowl and measure the distance from the toe of the float to the top of the bowl, but is there a specific gap that is recommended? Thanks for any help!

won't float...funny name....I like it. Did you purchase a kit for your carb? (I am looking around and trying to find even a fair price). if so, where did you buy this? also, holley and carbs unlimited have tech sections that links you to the specifications and proceedures you were requesting
